Westwood is a neighborhood in the northern central portion of the Westside of Los Angeles, California, known for its condos, townhomes, California bungalows and single-family homes. Westwood is the home of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and is also a center for movie-going on the Westside and the site of many movie premieres. Century City is a 176-acre commercial and residential district on the Westside of the city of Los Angeles. Also known for its condos, townhomes, California bungalows and single-family homes, Century City is an important business center. Many law firms and executives, particularly those with ties to the film, television and music industries, have offices there.
